Alan Clay Brisker, 71 of Minford passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at SOMC ER. He was born May 11, 1952 in Portsmouth, a son of Hattie Jane (O'Neil) Brisker and the late Hughferd Brisker. Alan was an avid farmer and owned and operated Brisker Farms. He was a 1970 Minford High School graduate, attended Hobart School of Welding, and was employed by Centrus Energy in Piketon. He was also a member of Western Sun Masonic Lodge #91 and a Shriner. He loved his grandchildren and was their biggest fan; he was a great father, husband, and friend and leaves his legacy behind.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Stanley Brisker; two daughters, Melissa (Todd) Cron, Jacklyn Brisker; four grandchildren, Mychal Cron, Taylor Cron, Tyce Cron, Paisley Brisker; one sister, Marsha (Tony) McGinnis, one brother, Fred Brisker, and special friends, Ed Wright, Craig Wright, Randy Caudill, Nicholas Boggs, Chris Johnson, and Doug McGinnis. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Geoffrey Brisker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to his granddaughter's platform "She's More" . She's More allows women that are in recovery to learn their value, identity and purpose.
