Amanda Christy Conkel, 43 , of Lucasville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  Born October 17, 1977 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Mark and Fran (Lewis) Conkel of Minford, she was a 1996 Minford High School graduate, and attended Life Point Church.  Amanda loved her family and friends above all else and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Ryan (Roxanne) Conkel, Craig (Amy) Conkel; four nieces, Lexi, Layni, Lynli, Landri; one nephew, Bryson Conkel; her grandmothers, Carolyn Lewis, Betty Conkel,; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a beloved friend, Jeremy Goshay. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Douglas Lewis, Curtis Conkel; her uncle, Mike Lewis, and a special cousin, Jared Dever.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Ryan Conkel officiating. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
