Amanda Edith Montgomery, 93, of Minford, formerly of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Wed, Dec 20., 2017. She was born Oct. 7, 1924 in Scioto County, daughter of the late Allen and Mabel (Bennett) Kallner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, and three brothers, Forrest, Charles, and David Kallner. She is survived by two sons, Richard (Carolyn), David (Kathy); three grandchildren, Tim, Karen (Darin) Semchuk, Laura; two great grandchildren, Rylan Semchuk, Luke Semchuk; three sisters, Ada Bradbury, Sarah (Russell) Gilliland, and Ruth White; and several nieces and nephews. Mandy worked for Sears for 32 years. She loved being with friends and family, feeding birds and squirrels, and helping in the community. She always had a smile on her face, a hug to give, and a kind word to say. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wed., Dec 27, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thurs, Dec 28, 2017 at Northlawn Memory Gardens in Westerville.
