Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Anna Bell Blanton, age 83, of Stockdale, Ohio, passed into God's hands from natural causes December 15, 2015. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful person and her family was her love and joy. Anna was born February 16, 1932, in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Claude and Ruby Blair Hamilton. Anna is survived by four children, Tony Blanton and his wife Sharon Blanton, Cindy Lykins and her husband Paul Lykins, Dustin Blanton, and Chris Blanton; three sisters, Helen Welch, Kay Slone, and Margret Stoud, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband Jim Blanton; four brothers, Frank Hamilton, Paul Hamilton, Hollie Hamilton, and Robert Hamilton; one sister Dora Daniels, as well as three children, Wanda Gayle Blanton, Dwight Blanton, and Wayne Ratliff. She will always be in our hearts and we will carry her memory forever with us. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
