Elsie Arlene Knore, 93, of Paris, Kentucky, a former Minford area resident, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her residence. Born August 9, 1922 in Fullerton, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Floyd and Dillie Florence Boggs Sexton, she was a homemaker and was member Sunshine Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons and daughters - in-law, Dennis and Kathy Knore of Mobile, Alabama, Don and Lisa Knore of Paris, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Alina (Ally) Knore, Cole Knore (Don & Lisa), and Zachary Knore (Dennis & Kathy), and 31 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Victor D. Knore on August 9, 2014; one son in infancy, David Lee Knore, and eight brothers and sisters, Oscar Melvin Sexton, Lebern Tyree Sexton, Edward Orville Sexton, Dorothy Gertrude Alexander, Elmo Paul Sexton, Helen June Abney, Juanita Mae Clay, and Eugene Clifford Sexton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Sunshine Church of Christ in Minford with Steve Miller, Minister and Jamie Riley, Minister officiating. Burial will be at Batterson Cemetery near Minford. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the Church.
