Barbara Sharon Porter, 73, of Minford, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her residence. Born April 30, 1945 in South Shore, KY, a daughter of the late Abraham Huston and Rachel Jean (Bramblett) Bentley, she was a certified welder for Armco Steel and attended Rubyville Community Church. She is survived by her husband, Buddy G. Porter; a son, Bob (Rhonda) Porter; a daughter, Kim (Carl) Dever; a daughter-in-law, Chiyoko Porter; five grandchildren, Robby (Ashley) Porter, Amanda (Brad) Evans, Jordan Nicholle Dever, Nathan Dever, Patricia Porter; three great grandchildren, Olivia Porter, Braxton Porter, Zoie Evans; a brother, Larry (Marlene) Bentley, and a sister, Debra (Richard) Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Eugene Porter; a granddaughter, Melissa Porter and a brother, Bradley (Lucky) Bentley. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
