Beth Best, 47, of Lucasville, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at OSU Medical Center. Born January 2, 1969 in Scioto County, a daughter of Wilma Jean Sowards Atkins and the late Dorsey Lee Roy Atkins, she was an LPN at Pleasant Hill Nursing Home. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James Best; four sons, Ian (Andi) Watkins, Cody (Desi) Watkins, Joe Watkins, and Owen Watkins and four grandchildren, Aubrey Watkins, Konner Watkins, Levi Watkins, and Liam Watkins. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016 at Rubyville Community Church with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans and Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
