Obituary

Betty Lou Nance, 79, of Lucasville, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. Born July 27, 1939 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Joseph Edwin and Cora (Lester) Fields, she was a custodian for Eastern Local School District retiring after 28 years of service and attended Stockdale Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, LuAnn Nance, Cheryl (Joe) Hagler; five grandchildren, April Kantz, Tony (Shanna) Hagler, Joey Hagler, Joshua (Corissa) Hagler, Dylan Hagler; four great grandchildren, Cody Hagler, Blake Hagler, Treven Hagler, Adaline Hagler who is due in January, and one sister, Jessie Wicker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Nance; seven brothers, and three sisters. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Rick Evans officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at Scioto Cemetery in Lucasville.
