Beulah M. (Colvin) Dixon, 96, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was born February 3, 1921 in Paintsville, KY, a daughter of the late Herschel and Esta Lee (Salyers) Colvin. Beulah is survived by a son, Lowell (Bonny) Dixon of Jackson, MI; two daughters, Geraldine Knapp of Jackson, MI, Phyllis (Gary) Jones of Chillicothe, OH; a brother, Bobby (Edie) Colvin; a sister, Patricia Underwood; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Dixon; two sons, Paul Dixon, Ronald Dixon; a daughter, Alphretta Holsinger; a granddaughter, Rhonda Browning; two brothers, Junior Lacy Colvin and Leo Colvin. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Don Noel officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
