Carl "CE" Shepherd, 80 of Minford passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at his residence. Born April 16, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son of the late Crit and Goldie Ann Shepherd, he retired from N&S Railroad after 49 years and was a U.S. Marine veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Dotson Shepherd; one son, Darren Shepherd; one daughter, Kim (Jeff) Garrett; two step-daughters, Melissa "Misee" (Jason) Cantrell, Rebecca Duncan; ten grandchildren, Amber Pauley, Tori Garrett, Shany Foreman, Alli Shepherd, Emma Shepherd, Dillon Shepherd, Kaitlyn Davis, Chrislyn Davis, Corey Miller, Kaden Gregory; three great grandchildren, Raeleigh Pauley, Jeff Pauley, Miles Johnson; one brother, Christopher (Trish) Shepherd, and special friends, Bill Blevins, Kyle & Brenda Dotson, and Wayne Gampp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Sue Shepherd; one brother, Dale Shepherd, and one sister, Rita Carver.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum @ Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with Pastor Dane Thompson officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A.
