Carolyn Sue Cassady (Gram), 69, of Minford passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at her home. She was a loving mother and Gram to all and she will be greatly missed. She was born March 25, 1948 in Lucasville to Luther and Geneva (Buckler) Alley. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Loretta (Wayne) Alley of Lucasville, Renee (Jerry) Howard of Wheelersburg, Tim (Kris) Cassady of Mechanicsburg, David Cassady of North Carolina, and special friends Margo and DJ. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kyle Cassady of Minford, Kraig (Charity) Cassady of Wheelersburg, Joey (Michelle) Alley of Lucasville, Brian Cassady (Rose Drake), Travis (Alicia) Cassady, Hailie Cassady all of Mechanicsburg; great grandchildren who were the joy of her life, Broc, Corbin, Kara, TJ; two sisters, Diane Maynard, Sharon Garner, and seven brothers, Luther "Dutch" Alley, Michael Alley, James Alley, Virgil Alley, Tim Alley, Jackie Alley, and Randy Alley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Kurtis and Keith Cassady; a sister, Glenna Fultz, and four brothers, Harold Alley, Amos Alley, Donald Alley, and Richard Alley. Funeral services will be conducted Noon Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Mark Bales and Fred Bales officiating. Burial will be at Jacobs Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
