Carolyn Sue Raby, 72, of Minford, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born April 4, 1954 in Jackson, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Glass) Johnson. She was a CNA III and a member of 3:16 Ministries.

Carolyn will be remembered as a woman whose heart was centered on the people she loved most. She loved her family, and that love shaped the life she shared with those around her. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds, finding joy in the simple and beautiful moments of everyday life. Most of all, Carolyn loved talking about Jesus, and that faith was a meaningful part of who she was.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Lee Raby; three daughters, Tracy Blackburn, Stacy (Tony Breech) Rayburn, Stephanie (William) Clefford; one son, Jason (Bethany) Raby; fifteen grandchildren: Kayla (Emily) Fuhrmann, Randy Eldridge, Makenzie Eldridge, Gage Kinder, Alax Bowles, Dakota Kinder, Chase (Mikhaila) Harrell, Haley McDaniel, Paige Harrell, Jasmine Jones, Josh Clefford, Ryan Clefford, Emily Raby, Dustin Raby, and Madison Raby; many great grandchildren; one sister, Rhonda Puckett; three brothers, Roger Johnson, Larry Johnson, Robert Johnson, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Pete Johnson, Frank Johnson, Jr., and Eddie Johnson, and by her sisters Marilyn Coffer, Joanna Johnson, Linda Manns, Barbara Folden, Anna Lambert, Virginia Keyser, and Virgene Smith. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 3:16 Ministries, 1650 Lang Slocum, Wheelersburg, Ohio 45694 with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Burial will be at Raby Family Cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the church.  A dinner will be provided by Swauger Valley Baptist Church in Minford @ 11:00 prior to the service. Carolyn Sue Raby will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her steady faith, and the warmth she brought to everyday life. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
