Charles Jefferson Burton born November 19, 1989 in Portsmouth passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Lucasville. He was a graduate of Valley High School in the class of 2008 where he played football. He was an employee of SOCF and a member of the Special Response Team. He was also self-employed as a tree trimmer. He was an avid outdoorsman, a great dad, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend to so many great people.

He was the son of Richard (Amber Keaton) Burton, Jr. of Lucasville and Dana (John) Stoy of Ashley, Indiana. He is also survived by five brothers, Bobby (Tosha) Burton of a Michigan, Nathan (Alex) Burton of Sciotoville, Gabe (Victoria) Burton of Indiana, Landon and Aiden of Lucasville; three step-brothers, Ethan, Casey and Dakota Keaton all of Lucasville; his ex-wife, Elizabeth Burton and their children, a son, Colton Bret-Axel, and two daughters, Piper Kaylee and Addison Jade Burton all of Rarden, and his special extended family Elaine and Jason Perry, Shauna Crabtree, and nieces, nephews, to many cousins to name and so many great friends. He will be missed.
