Charles Joseph Parker, 78 of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Born April 27, 1942 in Portsmouth, son of the late Cecil and Lorraine Lore Parker, he was a former employee of CSX Railroad and attended Tick Ridge Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Charles "Chuck" Parker; two daughters, Belinda (Ronnie) Dingess, Jody (Robert) Payne; three grandchildren, Traycie Puckett, Triston Puckett, Zachary Payne; one great grandson, Triston "TJ' Puckett, and four sisters, Mildred Wiley, Nora Johnson, Garnett Newell, and Janie Rice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi B. Doseck Parker on October 8, 2012.
