Daffene Slone, 78 of Minford passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth.

Born April 25, 1942 in Thacker, WV, a daughter of the late Jake and Vesta Coleman.

She is survived by three sons, John (Pamela G.) Slone, Timothy (Pamela S.) Slone, James Edward Slone; four daughters, Diana (Daniel) Jenkins, Paula (Donald Mahon) Slone, Mary (Donnie) Mayhorn, Patricia Williams; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and four sisters, JoAnn, Loretta, Biggie, and Darlene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Slone; a son, Albert Slone; eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Mike Mounts officiating.  Burial will be at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott.
