Darlene A. Hunt, 88, of Clarktown, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born May 13, 1929 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Escar and Margaret (Green) Pyle. She is survived by her husband, Donald Hunt; two daughters, Kathy Cook of Columbus, Vikki (Larry) Smith of Wheelersburg; 5 grandchildren, Charles (Jeannette) Cook, Erica (Dustin) McCain, Shawna (Charles) Casey, Donnie (Tanya) Cook, Kristi (Lance) Stoneking; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Cruse of Beaver, Gladys Novotni of Canal Winchester; one brother Harold Pyle of Circleville and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Escar, Jr., Edwin, Eugene, and Clarence; six sisters, Mary Colegrove, Dorothy Short, Helen Frost, Louella Brigner, Lorraine Scott and Norma Easter. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Ralph Shaffer.
