Darrell “Dink” Jackson, 78, of Lucasville, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 at SOMC Hospice. He was born on May 3, 1948, in Oak Hill, a son of the late Earl and Cora (Slack) Jackson.

Throughout his life, Darrell was known for his hard work, dedication, and humility. He worked for multiple tree services that cleared trees for the power companies.

He is survived by his wife, Dalene (Semones) Jackson; four children, Patricia Jackson, Darrell Jackson, Loren Keller, Lindsey Keller; his grandchildren, CJ, Stephanie & Katie Tomlin, Eli Jackson, Noah Wright, Ali & Liv'va Isaac, Leona Blanton, Mya & Kodah Littleton, Amanda Littleton; one sister, Patricia Hamilton, and many great grandkids, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Leroy, Larry “Buck”, Rickey, Ray “Curly”, Warren “Oak”, and one sister, Thelma Jackson-Dickens.

A memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
