Debra Kay Hoover Jordan, 60, of New Boston passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her residence. Born April 2, 1957 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Herbert Mark and Janet Margaret Sowards Hoover, she was a Home Health Aide for Hallmark Healthcare. She is survived by her longtime companion, Jimmy Arthurs; one son, Joshua Arthurs of New Boston; her boys, DJ Lute of New Boston, Michael Mullins of South Webster, Chaz Hamilton of Minford, Jonathan Kimmey of Wheelersburg, Kade McQuate of Minford, Robert Lute of Stockdale; four sisters, Marquita (Ronald) Blume of Portsmouth, Margaret (Randy) Scaff, Linda (William) Twinam, Mary (John) Collier; three brothers, Herbert Hoover, Jr., Robert (Angie) Hoover, Timothy (Jennifer) Hoover; two very special nieces, Marlene Evans, Alexis Evans and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Jordan; two sisters, Tina Marie Helus, Patricia L. Twinam; one brother in infancy, Albert Hoover, and several children in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday, November 17, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
