Obituary

Deloris Azenith Spradlin, 66, of Portsmouth passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at her residence. Born June 27, 1950 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late John Howard and Juanita Lewis Sizemore, she was a beautician at Marie's Beauty Shop and Nurses Aid at Edgewood Manor of Lucasville. She was a member of Mackletree Baptist Church, Ladies Auxiliary James Irwin Post, and was former Chaplin, historian, president and vice-president of Ladies at James Irwin. She is survived by two sons, Rodney Allen Spradlin; Ronald Wayne (Judy) Spradlin; one grandson, John Paul Spradlin; one granddaughter, Heather Marie Spradlin; one great grandson, Eli Joseph Spradlin; two brothers, John G. Sizemore, Timothy L. Sizemore, and three sisters, Gwen (Jack) Langdon; Brenda Lou Sizemore, Sandra Kay Sizemore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Spradlin and one son, Randall Scott Spradlin. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
