Dolores Ann Marshall Harris, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at SOMC Hospice. Born February 26, 1949 in Paintsville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy D. Fisher Marshall. She was united in marriage to James Jackson 'Jack" Harris on September 24, 1990. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2015. Dolores was also preceded in death by one son, David Wayne Peterson and one step- son ,Tim Harris. Dolores is survived by three sons, Verne (Buddy) Harmison, III of Springfield, Manuel Peterson of Portsmouth, and Vernon Joe Ratcliff of Columbus; two daughters, Laura Schmidt of Portsmouth and Vicki Cooper of Portsmouth; one step-son, Matt (Amy) Harris of Kentucky; one step daughter, Jacklyn (Joey) Gipson of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Marshall, Danny (Cindy) Marshall; one sister, Brenda (Gary) West, and a very special friend, Joann Moore. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Burial will be at Rosemount Cemetery.
