Donna Sue Deemer, 71, of Minford passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at her residence. Born May 25, 1944 a daughter of the late Theodore Chester and Gladys Oleda (Spradlin) Tussey, she was a 1962 graduate of East High School, attended Twin Valley Baptist Church, and was a member of the Lucasville Order of the Eastern Star 495. She is survived by her husband, Roy E. Deemer whom she married on May 11, 1963; three nieces, Phoebe Tussey (Norm Vance) of California, Kim (Ken) Wright of Portsmouth, Sheri (Gary) Skaggs of Florida; five great nieces and nephews, Emma, Anna, Kaleana, Kody, Kaleb; nieces and nephews, Gayle McGuffey, Pat McCormick; other great nieces and nephews, Marina , Madison, Meagan, Macenzie, and Andrew, and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. James Tussey. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Don Noel and John King officiating. Burial will be at Bailey Chapel Cemetery in Wakefield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
