Donna Moon, 80 , of Beaver, Ohio, went home to see her savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, November 14th, 2023. She went to heaven with gratitude and peace, surrounded by family and friends, after a recent cancer diagnosis.

Donna was born October 26th, 1943, daughter of the late Albert Lamar and Mildred Gladys Thomas Stafford. She is survived by her three daughters, Crystal Moon, Robin Moon, and Carrie (Al) Diedrick; as well as her grandchildren, Casey (Shawna) Edmonds, Chelsie Barnett, Leah Diedrick, Dannah Diedrick, great grandson Remington Ray James, close nephew, Chad (Crystal) Moon and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ray Moon on December 6th, 2001; as well as her parents and two sisters, Nedra Stafford and Juana Kay Creech.

Donna, affectionately called Mamaw by her grandchildren, lived a blessed life worth celebrating. Donna served as a nursing assistant, unit clerk, and volunteer coordinator at Southern Ohio Medical Center's Hospice for 36 years. She retired in 2019, and passed on her knowledge and caring bedside manner to her daughters and granddaughters. Donna loved her church family at Owl Creek Lighthouse Church on Germany Road where she was a member for many years. Mamaw loved taking long car rides and getting lost, even though she said you're never lost because "every road leads somewhere".

A special thanks to SOMC Hospice for their excellent care and to SOMC Specialty Pharmacy where she received her medication assistance in recent years.

Funeral services at Owl Creek Lighthouse Church, will be held on Saturday November 18th 2023 at 11:00am, officiated by Rodney Bapst. Burial will be at Beaver Union Cemetery and friends may call at the church on Friday, November 17th from 5:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M, in addition to one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
