Dorothy Kay Horner, 76, South Webster, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. Born March 24, 1940 in Straight Creek, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Evert and Laurie Scott Adkins, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved flowers and loved to read. She is survived by three sons, Jesse Horner, Jr., Robert Horner and Ricky Horner, all of South Webster; two daughters, Stephanie Johnson of South Webster and Lisa Sheets of Wheelersburg; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, her twin, Douglas Adkins and Donald Adkins, and one sister, Patricia Holbrook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Horner; one son, Chris Horner; one daughter, Angela Horner; three brothers, Ronald Adkins, Billy Adkins, David Adkins, and two sisters, Betty Brown and Frances Brown. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery.
