Dudley Edgar Wooten, 71, of Minford passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at peace "down on the farm." Born November 10, 1946 in Minford, a son of the late Edgar R. and Frances Elenor (Haney) Wooten, he was the owner and operator of Wooten's Landscaping and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portsmouth. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Laura (Diehl) Wooten; a daughter, Amy (Chris) Larmour of Tuscon; two sons, Jon (Carrie) Wooten of Columbus, Benji (Ashlee) Wooten of Cincinnati; five grandchildren, Connor Larmour, Rex Wooten, Brooke Wooten, Ellee Wooten, Viveean Wooten, and two sisters, Janice Wooten of Cincinnati and Beverly Wooten Dunham of Jacksonville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portsmouth with Father Joe Yokum officiating. Burial will be at Wooten Cemetery in Minford.
