Dwight David Comer, 56 of Minford passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1965 in Portsmouth, a son of the late George Franklin "Pete" and Clarice Evans Comer. He was a 1984 Minford High School graduate and was a certified electrician. Dwight loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and was a hardworking, good kind man. He is survived by the love of his life, Sandra Comer; one brother, George "Duke" (Janice Stickney) Comer, III; three sisters, Jeanetta Adkins, Pamela Howard, Hope Comer; nieces and nephews, Keith "Bull" (Johnda) Durham, Jason Durham, Jennifer (Steve) Ruggles, Jackie (Josh) Matthews, Michael Bailey, Matthew (Stephanie) Comer, Treyci Comer, William Tyler Comer, Anna Comer, Sophia Comer, Jacob Comer, Chelsea Comer, Raven Comer, Haley Comer, Emily Comer, and fourteen great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be in White Cemetery in Minford.
