Earl Colley, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at Traditions of Chillicothe. Born March 27, 1937 in Scioto County, a son of the late Alpha and Effie McKnight Colley, he was retired from the City of Chillicothe and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He is survived by two sons, Mark (Sue) Colley and Charles (Trisha) Colley all of Chillicothe; one grandchild; four sisters, Jacklyn (Kenny) Staggs, Caroline Shephard, Cammie (Jerry) Justice and Connie (Ron) Cook, and three brothers, Jerry (Elaine) Colley of Portsmouth, John (Vina) Colley of McDermott, and Richard (Shirley) Colley of Portsmouth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Constance Elaine (Fisher) Colley on November 5, 2001 whom he married May 28, 1960; a daughter, Constance Michele Colley; one brother, Gary Colley, one sister, Sandy Gray, and a daughter-in-law, Virginia Colley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with Tim Bennett officiating.
