Edith Jean Pitts, 77 of Minford passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at SOMC Hospice. Born October 25, 1944 in Jackson, daughter of the late James Albert and Georgia Sharky Lewis, she was a homemaker and attended Madison Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Willis Pitts; two sons, Shaun Pitts, Willis Kevin Pitts; one daughter, Theresa (Keith) Parker; three grandchildren, Chris Parker, Stephanie Parker, Erica Pitts; four great grandchildren Aislyn Adkins, Jensen Adkins, Miles Neff, Arianna Neff, and one sister, Dorothy Miranda. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Jeana Pitts; three brothers, Bob, Ronald, Morgan and two sisters, Jodi and Martha.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
