Elsie (Patrick) Slusher of Minford, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on November 11, 2023. She was born March 16, 1939 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Chester and Nancy (Shepherd) Patrick. Elsie was a homemaker and attended Old Philadelphia Church in Minford for 45 years.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Slusher whom she married August 28, 1956; her children, Nelson (Jill) Slusher, Marvin (Robin) Slusher, Marty (Teresa) Slusher, Physcilla Slusher, all of Minford; bonus son, Brent (Patty) Davis of Columbus; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael "Todd" Slusher; two granddaughters, Laura Slusher, whom she raised, Misty Slusher; two great grandchildren, Robert Littlefied II, Bristen Steele; four sisters, Helen Slusher, Norma Jean Keaton, Pauline Allen, Betty Phillips, and three brothers, Archie Patrick, Junior Patrick, and Reuben Patrick.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Old Philadelphia Church with Maurice Pierce and Terry McBee officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at Old Philadelphia Church on Slusher Road after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday until the funeral hour Wednesday.
