Frank Lee Lowder, 64, of Minford passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at OSU Hospital in Columbus. Born August 22, 1951 in Portsmouth, a son of Wilma Imogene Anderson Lowder of Waverly and the late Dow Lowder, he was a sheet metal mechanic for White Castle Systems in Columbus with 25 years of service. He enjoyed his regular coffee visits and friends at the Skyline Restaurant in Minford. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly Longerbone Lowder; one son, Frank (Lisa) Lowder, Jr. of Minford; one daughter, Lori (Ken) Livingston of Lucasville; five grandchildren, Frankie Lee Lowder, III, Kyle Lowder, Kristen Lowder, Logan Livingston, and Hunter Livingston; one brother, Dow (Denise) Lowder, Jr., and two sisters, Brenda Lowder and Sharon Bartley. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Lowder.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be in Granny Thomas Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service.
