Frank Edgar Meddles, age 87, of Stout Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24th 2016. Frank is proceeded in death by his parents Rhoda and Fredrick "Pearl" Meddles; brothers Ronnie Meddles, Owen Meddles, Carl Meddles, and Donnie Meddles; son Gordon "Bub" Meddles and daughter-in-law Peggy Meddles. He is survived by his wife Judy Meddles; daughter Pam (Chris) Von Driska, son R.D. Meddles (Shelli Rockwell); 6 grandchildren Willy (Stephanie) Mollette, Zach (Christine) Mollette, Courtney (Adam) Osting, Ronnie Meddles, Jane (Jake) Darrin, and Chris (Shannon) Von Driska; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends as well as loving neighbors Patty and Alan Holsinger. He also leaves behind his beloved 4 legged companion Sidney. Frank loved hunting, fishing and camping. He served his country as a Navy Frogman before settling down and having a family. He worked for many years at Ironsides and Capitol Resin Corp. Franks family would like to thank Hospice of Portsmouth for taking such great care of him over the past year and in his final days. Graveside services conducted by Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home will be held at Lucasville Cemetery this Friday, September 30th 2016 at 11:00 AM.
