Garnet A. Comer, 77, of Oak Hill, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 18, 1937, a daughter of the late Floyd and Catherine (Tope) Crabtree. She is survived by five sons, Arnold Ray "Ray Jr." Comer, Floyd "Lee" Comer, Arnie "Jay" Comer, Timmy "Joe" Comer, Christopher "Roy" Comer; two daughters, Emma Jean Comer, Patricia "Annie" Comer-Bayles; one brother, Franklin Crabtree; four sisters, Ruby Durham, Virginia Crabtree, Donna Crabtree, Myrtle Mullens; 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Ray Comer, Sr. whom she married on June 15, 1960; three brothers, Robert, James, Arthur Crabtree; and one sister Jeanie Crabtree. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
