Gary Dean Lintz, 67, of Lucasville passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his residence. Born October 26, 1948 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Carl John and Kathleen E. Shuter Lintz, he was a retired corrections officer in Columbus and Orient and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by one brother, John Brian (Kelly) Lintz of Chillicothe; one sister, Janet (Alva) McDaniel of Newark; three nieces, Susan Peck, Kristi Schneider and Pamela Strouse, and many other cousins. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Jim Benner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. The family would like to thank SOMC Hospice for their excellent care.
