George Vernon Munn, 82 of Lucasville passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at SOMC Hospice. He was born September 3, 1938 in Clarktown, a son of the late Clarence Allen and Elizabeth Mae Rickey Munn. George was retired from Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in Franklin Furnace and attended Center Street Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia E. Skeldon Munn; one brother, Vaughn Edwin (Sue) Munn, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends, John & Betty Lockhart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul A. Munn, and two sisters, Mildred Gammon and Madeline Gloss.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Lucasville Cemetery in Lucasville with Pastor Phil Howard officiating. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
