On October 5, 2018 Getta Louise Bennett King left this world and moved towards her heavenly home. She is survived by one daughter, Shawna Steinhauer; five grandchildren, Anthony, Jared and Caleb Smith (Breanna); Stephanie Moss (Zachary) and Seth (Melissa) Steinhauer; three great grandchildren, Skylar Steinhauer, Kal-el Moss and Chloe Moss. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Getta Bennett, as well as, the love of her life, Herbert King for over sixty years. She was a member of Stockdale Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and pianist. Louise was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Lucasville, Alpha Iota Business Sorority and Willow Garden Club. Louise enjoyed music, singing, and growing flowers but most of all she enjoyed life and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Rick Evans and Matthew Mayhew officiating. Entombment will be at Edgewood Abby, Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
