Gregory Alan Duckson, 39, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. Born August 24, 1976 in Portsmouth, a son of Pamela Duckson Klein of Florida, he was a correction's officer at SOCF and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Zackary Alan Duckson; four daughters, Coey Renee Duckson, Kennedy Michele Duckson, Allie Faye Duckson and Andie Del Duckson; former wife and best friend, Cathy Duckson and a half sister, Stephanie Thoroughman. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Dale Newman; step-father, Eddie Muck and his grandmother, Wilma Faye Duckson. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Lonnie Gambill officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
