Helen Irene Tomilson, 95 , of Lucasville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 29, 2022 at Rosemount Pavilion.  Born March 28, 1927 in New Boston a daughter of the late Everett Fred and Madge (Childers) Conkel, she was a homemaker and attended Back Run Freewill Baptist Church. Helen is survived by one son, Donald Ray (Marcella) Tomilson; one brother, Leo Conkel; three sisters, Dorothy Doss, Geraldine McKenzie and Marilynn Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Tomilson Jr.; one son in infancy, Ronald Ray Tomilson; one sister in infancy, Betty Sue Conkel; one sister, Judy Chapman; four brothers, Fred Everett Conkel, Jim Conkel, Ralph Conkel, and Mike Conkel. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2022 at Canter-Wells Cemetery in Lucasville with Bud Mefford officiating.
