Herald Glenn Baughman, 93 of Minford passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. He was born July 26, 1929 in Hollidays Cove, WV and raised in Copen, WV, a son of the late Hampton Lee and Locie Moore Baughman. He retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol as a Trooper and was a US Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Jeff (Debbie) Baughman of Lucasville, Mark Baughman of Plantation, Florida; five grandchildren, Sarah (Nick) Erwin of Lucasville, Dr. Alan (Eva) Baughman, DMD of Loveland, Colorado, Kira (Dr. Jeff) Baughman Froude of Walkersville, Maryland, Jessica (Scott) Baughman Wetendorf of Carol Stream, Illinois, Libby (Joe) Baughman Davis of South Pasadena, California; twelve great grandchildren, Jimmy Froude, Samantha Froude, Anne Froude, Will Wetendorf, Ben Wetendorf, Charlotte Davis, Blake Davis, Theodore Davis, Landon Williams, Beth Erwin, Reese Erwin, Ross Erwin; a very special friend, Alberta Scherer, and two nieces, Barb (Gary) Halfhill of Irondale, Ohio and Mary Kapella of Raleigh, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Wilma Kathleen (Katie) Baughman on May 15, 2020, and his brothers and sisters, James Frank Baughman, Helen Moore Stanley Cummings, Lola Baughman Stanley, Clifton Wade Baughman, Stanley Baughman, Robert Guy Baughman, Sr., and Kenneth Ray Baughman.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Bethel Cemetery with Larry Moore officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A.
