Hobert E. Kelly, 87, of South Webster, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. Born August 14, 1927 in Louisa, Kentucky, a son of the late Herbert A. Kelly and Sarah Ann Vanover Kelly Conley. He was retired from General Motors and was a U.S. World War II Army veteran. Hobert was an avid fisherman, hunter and a mechanic who could fix anything. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Barker Kelly; two sons, Leslie (Denise) Kelly of Charleston, Tennessee and Dwight (Eileen) Kelly of Lucasville; one daughter, Marlene (Jerry) Moore of South Webster; seven grandchildren, Shawn Kelly, Cheryl Gonzalez, Scott Kelly, Stephanie Morgan, Tiffany Kelly, Steven Kelly and Austin Mansfield; eight great grandchildren, Ember, River, Gavin, Camille, Arianna, Paul, Emily and Laura, and one brother, Homer Kelly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl J. Kelly and one sister, Shirley Ward Walter Parsons.
