Hugh Charles Clark, 91, of Minford, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He was born December 10, 1934, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the late Clois Guy and Whitney (Tate) Clark.

He was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran. Hugh will be remembered with love by his family and by those who had the privilege of knowing him through the years. His life spanned nearly a century, and his memory remains precious to those closest to him.

He is survived by his son, Chuck Clark; his daughters, Charlene Dersful and Valerie Padgett; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister, Sarah Preston, and many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service for Hugh Charles Clark will be held on October 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at German-Salem Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 23.
