Ida Mae Burchett, 96 of Minford passed away May 4, 2016 on her 96th birthday at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. Born May 4, 1920, a daughter of the late George Washington and Catherine Marie (Voorheis) Milar. She is survived by two sons, Denny Lee (Marilyn) Burchett, Michael L. (Teresa) Burchett; two daughters, Carolyn Mae Conklin, Dessie Deanna (Rick) Lipscomb; a daughter-in-law,Teresa Burchett; seven grandchildren, Lori Hull, Karen Vanco, Shannon Gill, Brandy Burchett, Brooklyn Lipscomb, John Carroll Burchett, Andrew Burchett; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Carroll Burchett; a son Perry Burchett; four brothers, Albert L. Milar, Harold C. Milar, George Edward Milar, Leroy Milar, and five sisters, Rhelda Sheets, Patricia Saunders, Emogene Goode, Thelma Young, and Nora Alice Tackett. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Burial will be at Rosemount Cemetery in Rosemount. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
