Ilene Bailey, 93, of Rubyville, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. Born November 28, 1923 in Red Bush, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Okie L. and Virgie L. Blanton Williams, she was a homemaker, a member of Lucasville Chapter #495 Eastern Star and a member of Christ Brethren Church in Rubyville. She is survived by one son, Gerald "Jerry" Bailey of Rubyville; three grandchildren, Andrea Belcher of Portsmouth; James Bailey of Twin Valley and Jared Bailey of West Union; one nephew, Robert Scott, and one niece, Leigh Ann Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Bailey on May 12, 1992 whom she married September 5, 1947; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Mae and Donald Scott and Floine and Heber Preston. Funeral services will be conducted at Noon, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Christ Brethren Church in Rubyville with Pastor Everett Martin and Pastor Major Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
