Jack Cordle, 80, of Minford passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Heartland of Portsmouth. Born July 15, 1935 in Blaine, Kentucky to the late Selca and Susie Cordle. He was a dairy farmer for 50+ years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine on November 6, 2006; son, Jack Dewayne Cordle in 1959; four brothers, Paul, Norman, Dewey, Selca Junior and one sister, Minerva. He is survived by two sons, Mike Cordle of Minford and Brian (Tami) Cordle of Minford; three daughters, Belinda (Alan) Moore of Wheelersburg, Pam (Gary) Kelly and Susan (DeWayne) Snyder of Minford; five grandchildren, Alison (Jim) Snodgrass, Michael (Tara) Cordle, Katie (Greg) Shirey, Wes (Terah) Cordle, Derek (Erin) Snyder; nine great grandchildren, Kara Harris, Waylon, Wyatt, Chase and Gabriel Cordle, Henry and Lacey Shirey, Dylan Snodgrass and Oakley Snyder; four brothers, Bill, Floyd, Lace, and John, and three sisters, Linda, Janet and Mary. The family will like to give special thanks to Heartland of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Brett McGraw officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
