James Robert Dixon, 64 , of Wheelersburg passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his residence. Born September 13, 1954 in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Paul and Anna (Stout) Dixon, he was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Joni (Alvis) Dixon; a son, Michael (Tressa) Dixon; four grandchildren, Vanessa Coriell, Shane Dixon, Tiffany Smith, Brandon Wallace; seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Janet Maddox, Mary Dixon; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. James was survived by his brother, Marvin Dixon who passed away about an hour and a half after him.
