Jared Michael McLaughlin, 32, of Minford , passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus. Born September 10, 1983 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was a graduate of Minford High School in the class of 2001, was a Diesel Mechanic, and had attended Harrison Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nichole (King) McLaughlin; their children, MacKenna King and Bryson McLaughlin; his son, Braden Scott; his mother and step-father, Lori and Steve Seibert of Minford; father and step-mother, T. Lee (Linda Humston) McLaughlin of Minford; father and mother-in-law, TJ and Angie King of South Point; brother, Seth (Kristyn) McLaughlin of West Portsmouth; step-brother, David P. (Amanda) Humston of Minford; brother-in-law, Aaron King of South Point; close cousins, April (Aaron) Burchett and Steven R. Burchett; close friend, Devan Parker of Wheelersburg; maternal grandmother, Jannettia Burchett of Minford; paternal grandmother, Doris McLaughlin and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, E. Halcard Burchett and an uncle, Ralph Burchett. Funeral services will be conducted 11 Friday, April 1, 2016 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Brother Bud Mefford and Brian Burchett officiating. Burial will be in Burchett Family Cemetery near Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
