Jeanette Jean Staker, 89, of Stockdale, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. Born March 19, 1927 in Stockdale, was the daughter of the late Leslie Emrick and Mary Cecila Body Staker, she was the Stockdale Postmaster and had worked on the family farm. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Nolan Lee and Gloria Staker of Stockdale; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law, Lester W. and Janet Staker and two sisters, Mary Katherine Staker and Evelyn Staker. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
