Jerry D. Cremeans, 74, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born near Rubyville, Ohio, on October 5, 1940, a son of the late Russell and Marjorie Rhoden Cremeans. He was a retired rod room welder for the former Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose # 931, new Martinsville, West Virginia. In addition to this parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Cremeans. Surviving are his wife, Linda Ruby Cremeans whom he married on September 15, 1962; two sons, Rick (Tonia) Cremeans of Woodsfield, Ohio, Jerry (Liz) Cremeans of Parkersburg, West Virginia; one sister Linda (Stan) Smith of Port Charlotte, Florida; four grandchildren, Robert, Lindsey, Joey, and Devin Cremeans. Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday August 18, 2015. Friends then will be received at the Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, Ohio from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 with Pastor Buddy Mefford officiating.
