Joshua Joseph Alley, 19 of New Boston went to be with his Lord & Savior Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was born July 14, 2003 in Portsmouth, a son of Josh (Elaine) Alley and Alisha (Jason) Goddard, he was a graduate of Glenwood High School in the Class of 2022 and Scioto County Career Technical Center in Industrial Maintenance. Josh raced dirt bikes and four wheelers for Fast Trax Racing. He loved to spend time fishing. Joshua was employed by M & M Services as a technician. In addition to his parents, he is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Natalie Goddard, Emily Goddard, Laney Goddard, Jozlyn Goddard, John Black, Jeffrey Martin, Kyle Martin; grandparents, Phyllis Jobe, Kathy Hutton, Jackie (Judy) Alley, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roger Rigsby. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Glenwood High School in New Boston with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Burial will be in Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the school from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
