Joyce Lynn Bays, 61 of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at SOMC. Born December 5, 1958 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Raymond Jack and Emma Bealer Martin, she was a nurses aide, cook and activities director for a nursing home and attended Community of Christ in McDermott.

She is survived one daughter, Amanda Bays of Wheelersburg; one son, James Lee Bays, Jr. of Wheelersburg, and one sister, Monia Bays. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Bays, Sr., and one sister, Emma Evon Martin.
