Kenas “Casey” Casebolt, 93, of Minford, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at SOMC Medical Center. He was born September 24, 1932 in Scioto County, Ohio, and was the son of the late John Henry and Pina May (Johnson) Casebolt. 

He was a graduate of Minford High School, Class of 1950, and was an auto mechanic for Owen Corning in Newark.

Casey’s faith played an important role in his life. He was a member of Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church and also attended Salem Church, where he developed lasting friendships and provided service to others through his involvement.

He is survived by his son, Vancil (Cindy) Casebolt; his daughters, Vicki Lynn Sussman, Pina Jean (Michael) Barcus, Deborah Kay (Bill) Beckett; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Juanita Ruth Casebolt on January 28, 2019; seven brothers, John, Hiram, Fon, Willie, Paul, Lawrence, Lon Casebolt, and seven sisters, Bessie Elam, Juanita “June” Elam, Clara Meyers, Blanche Carson, Flora Duduit, Pina Maynard, and Ruth Hite.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bernie Tilley officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
