Laura Enid (Kronk) Gibbins, passed away on July 26, 2015, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. She was 89 years of age. She was born in Minford, Ohio on August 25, 1925 to Ora and Nellie (Cole) Kronk. Formerly of Minford, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Edgar Otto Gibbins (April 10, 2012). She was also preceded in death by six sisters Dorothy Nibert, Lena Smith, Ferne Stearnes, Elsie Bateman, Judy Risner, and Marion Jean Kronk (infant) and two brothers, Roy Kronk and Ray Kronk. She is survived by three children, Becky Whittaker of Columbus, OH, Diane Gibbins of Dover, NH, and Dr. John Gibbins (Elvinia) of Loveland, OH. She is also survived by four grandchildren Brenden Whittaker, Kayla, Laurel, and Jessica Gibbins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Bernard Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
